[UPDATE] Utility Work Likely to Snarl Wyckoff Traffic

[Updated 2:30 p.m., May 15: Due to inclement weather, PSEG has revised the day road work would begin.]

The township said traffic would be affected starting Friday, May 18, as PSEG crews and contrators replace a gas main on Wyckoff Avenue.

will guide commuters along alternating lanes of traffic on Wyckoff Avenue between Woodbury and Spring Meadow drives during the nearly two weeks in which PSEG expects to be working starting Friday.

Motorists should anticipate delays and plan for extra travel time or plan an alternate route, according to the township.

If weather cooperates work would continue through Thursday, June 7, the utility company told township officials. Inclement weather or unforeseen conditions may require PSEG to extend the job.

Work will be performed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
