Two Luxury Cars Stolen from Borough Residence

Mercedes and Ferrari stolen from Franklin Lake Rd. garage

Two cars were stolen from a Franklin Lake Rd. resident on Oct. 14, according to Franklin Lakes Detective Lt. John Bakelaar.

The resident reported that two cars, a 2009 Mercedes Benz and 2003 Ferrari Spider, were stolen from his garage during the overnight hours.

Police said access was gained by using the garage door opener that was left in an unlocked car parked in the resident’s driveway.
