Two Arrests Made Over the Weekend

One DWI and one warrant arrest were made over the weekend.

Police made two arrests over the weekend. On Saturday, Alessandr Remia, 42, of Ramsey, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated. According to police, the arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Avenue. Remia, a sales representative for Western Pest Control, was released pending a Jan. 27 court appearance.

 On Sunday, Nicholas Campanile, 27, of Fair Lawn, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Elmwood Park. According to police, the arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 208. Campanile, a teacher’s assistant in Lodi, was also charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and released on $81 bail.
