A North Haledon woman accused of stealing and cashing checks from a Franklin Lakes home was arrested Tuesday. Gina Graziano, 40, was charged with theft as the result of an investigation by Det. Anthony Pacelli, police report.
According to Lt. John Bakelaar, a Cherokee Lane resident reported checks stolen from her mailbox in October. On Feb. 2, the resident reported six of the stolen checks had been cashed at a bank in Wyckoff. The total amount was $274.
Graziano was served with the complaint and released on her own recognizance. The Wyckoff Police Department has also filed charges, police said.
