Reward Offered in Theft of Signs

"Welcome to Wyckoff" signs taken from municipal borders

It seems someone is quite fond of the "Welcome to Wyckoff" signs found at the municipal borders.

Police Chief Benjamin Fox said that three such signs have been stolen within the past year. Two signs were stolen from the borders of Waldwick and Mahwah in 2008, and another sign was stolen from the Mahwah border several weeks ago.

The handmade wooden signs, valued at $700 each, were donated to Wyckoff by Partners in Pride, a local organization dedicated to beautifying the township. The signs were financed with donations to Partners in Pride.
