Resident Turns Herself In on Assault Charges

Police: Teen boy charged with offenses after house party

A township woman was charged with assault June 8 after a family argument.

Police said they responded to an Auburn Street home just before 10 p.m. that day on a report from a resident stating that her daughter had assaulted her, as well as another daughter, following a disagreement. Authorities said the fight resulted in injuries to both women.

Upon arrival, the resident who allegedly caused the injuries had already fled the home, police said. A search ensued of the immediate area, with the assistance of both the Bergen County police and Midland Park authorities, but the woman was not found. Warrants were issued for her arrest on two counts of assault.
