Wyckoff School Worker's Comment Prompts Lockdown, Report Says

Eisenhower Middle School was on lockdown for about 35 minutes Tuesday, report says.

Eisenhower Middle School was on lockdown Tuesday morning after a maintenance worker made some disconcerting comments, authorities told nj.com.

According to a report, the comments the worker made to one of his co-workers while the two were working on a project on the school’s roof “raised alarms” with district officials, who put the school on lock down for about 35 minutes.

The worker was taken to Bergen Regional Medical Center for an evaluation, the report said. Though police described the incident as a “mental health” issue, they said students were not ever in danger, nj.com reported.
