Car Crashes Into Brownstone Inn Owner's Allendale Restaurant

The reported accident comes a few months after a truck crashed into the Brownstone in Wyckoff.

About four months after the column outside Wyckoff’s Brownstone Inn was toppled by a hit-and-run driver, a drunk driver crashed into the restaurant’s sister location in Allendale Monday, nj.com reported.

According to the report, a car traveling west on West Allendale Ave. Monday morning drove over an island and crashed into the front of the shuttered Pastafino restaurant, causing “extensive damage.”

The driver, a 20-year-old from Ramsey who was not identified, was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence, the report said. He was not hurt in the accident, it said.
