Police: Bicycle Stolen from Wyckoff School's Bike Rack

The bike was likely stolen during a school day last week, police said.

One student at Sicomac Elementary School in Wyckoff is down a bicycle, thanks to a theft that police say occurred right in front of the school.

A student reported that his black and orange BMX bicycle was stolen from the bike rack outside the school last Wednesday, Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox announced in a release this week. The bike was unlocked at the time of the theft, he said.

According to Fox, the bike was likely stolen during the day, sometime between 2 p.m. and the end of the school day.
