Police: AC Units Lifted from Wyckoff Driveway

The home is currently under construction, police say.

Wyckoff Police say two expensive air conditioning units have been stolen from the driveway of a township home under construction.

According to a release Thursday from Chief Benjamin Fox, a resident on Chestnut Street reported last Friday that the two air condition units were stolen from the driveway, where they had been delivered to.

The brand new units are worth $3,000, Fox said.

The theft from the front of the house, which is under construction, likely happened sometime over a two-day period before the theft was reported, but police are not exactly sure when, Fox said.
