Update, March 17: Franklin Lakes Police said they won't have information on a fatal motorcycle accident on Colonial Road until Monday.

A motorcyclist was killed Friday in a single bike crash, authorities said.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said in an email that the crash, which occured on Colonial Road, does not meet the criteria for his office to investigate.

Police on the scene ordered a Patch freelancer to delete photos of the accident from his camera, citing a potential "crime scene."
