Molotov Cocktail Hurled At Gas Station
Police said a Molotov cocktail was thrown through station's office window
A Molotov cocktail appears to have been the cause of a fire early Sunday morning at the Delta gas station on Franklin Avenue, Police Detective Lt. John Bakelaar told Patch on Monday.
“Officers responded to a call at 4:19 a.m. and extinguished the fire. They found a plastic bottle filled with a paper towel and some accelerant in the office of the gas station,” Bakelaar said The station was not open at the time of the incident.
“Either the window was broken first or the bottle itself broke the window,” he said, declining comment on any possible leads or if there had been any trouble at the station in the past.
