6 Injured in Midland Park Crash

Wyckoff, Ridgewood and other area emergency responders transported the injured

Six people were injured as a result of a 2-car crash in Midland Park on Saturday night.

Emergency responders from Midland Park, Wyckoff, Ho-Ho-Kus and Ridgewood responded shortly before 9 p.m. to transport the six individuals hurt in the crash at Erie and Franklin avenues.  

Midland Park Ambulance Corps Captain Mike Junta confirmed that six patients were treated and transported — four were sent to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, two were sent to to Hackensack University Medical Center — by area ambulance corps.

A message on the Midland Park Ambulance Corps Facebook page praised emergency responders.

"The Midland Park Ambulance Corps Duty and General Crews would like to thank the Ho-Ho-Kus Duty and General Crews, Wyckoff Duty Crew, and Ridgewood Duty Crew for the job well done at the MVA tonight. Prime example of EMS working together. Thanks to all!"

Midland Park Police could not be reached Monday morning for comment, and officials would not detail the severity of the injuries.
