Masked Gunmen Rob GameStop; Employees Tied Up, Left in Bathroom

Robbers made off with $900, game systems

Masked men held up a video game store Tuesday night, making off with approximately $900 in cash and a number of video game systems, according to .

Two masked, white males entered the Franklin Crossing Shopping Center  as employees were closing Tuesday night. One of the men displayed a handgun and ordered two employees to turn over cash from the registers and safe.

The employees were forced into the bathroom where they were tied up with duct tape.

Both police and an employee at the store Wednesday said that those tied up in the robbbery were not hurt.

The employee declined further comment.

Police said the first male carrying the handgun and wearing a gray hooded shirt and gloves, appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s with a heavy build, and a medium to tall height.

The second male was described as being in his late teens or early twenties, short to medium height with a thin build.

An employee phoned 911 just before 10 p.m.

Sgt. Karl Klein and Officer Gerard Gansel with the Franklin Lakes Police Department investigated.
