Man Arrested After Allegedly Bringing Drugs to Wyckoff Court Appearance

The NY man was in the township answering a previous DWI charge, police said.

A NY man was arrested in Wyckoff Wednesday after police say he brought marijuana to the township's municipal court, where he was facing other charges.

At Wyckoff Town Hall Wednesday night while municipal court was in session, Patrolmen Thomas Tully and Kyle Ferreira noticed a car parked illegally outside, Fox announced in a release. On the front passenger seat of the car, police noticed a pill bottle with marijuana inside of it, Fox said.

While cops were examining the car, the owner came out, and told officers the drugs didn’t belong to him, but to his friend, whom he had driven to court to appear on a previous DWI charge, Fox said.
