Hurricane Sandy On The Way, Wyckoff Emergency Team Sets Up Facebook Page

The Office of Emergency Management, headed by Wyckoff Police Lt. David Murphy, has created a Facebook page to help keep township residents in the loop.

The township's emergency management team created a Facebook Page they hope will help keep Wyckoff residents informed during Hurricane Sandy — and in the event of other dangerous situations.

Wyckoff Police Lt. David Murphy alerted Patch regarding the page's creation on Friday.

"The Office of Emergency Management ... will be using it in addition to email blasts and the Township website to further get out vital information via the social media," Murphy said.
