Golf Club, Purse Stolen From Unlocked Autos

Two reports of theft from auto reported this week.

Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and not store valuables inside the vehicle after two separate incidences of theft from an unlocked car on Navaho Trail Drive Tuesday.

In the first report, a resident told police that golf clubs, a rangefinder, a golf GPS unit, iPod and cigars were stolen from his unlocked car, which was parked in the driveway.

At another Navaho Trail Drive home, a purse containing cash and credit cards were stolen from an unlocked car, which was also parked in the driveway.
