Franklin Lakes Cops Arrest Wyckoff Teen Following Drinking Party

Investigation is still underway, police say

An 18-year-old Wyckoff man was arrested following a Friday night raid of an unsupervised party at a Gregory Road home, according to police.

Franklin Lakes Police say officers responded to a noise complaint from neighbors at 10:33 p.m. and discovered a party in progress while the homeowners were away.

The 18-year-old was charged with possession of alcohol on private property while under age, according to FLPD Lt. John Bakelaar.

Cops are not sure how many teens were present at the party, but told Wyckoff Patch that "parents were called" following the arrival of police. 

Bakelaar declined to say whether the juvenile who hosted the party would be charged with any violations.

Police reported no injuries as a result of the Friday night party.
