Fire Department Seeks Support at 56th Annual Fireworks Fundraiser

Event is happening Saturday night.

Saturday night, an event that’s been happening in Wyckoff for the past 55 years returns, and organizers say it’s one not to miss.

“This is our annual fundraiser,” Wyckoff Fire Chief Lou Graglia said of Saturday night’s Fire Department Fireworks Fundraiser. “This is our big event.”

The night kicks off at about 6:45 p.m. at Memorial Field with music by The Shots in the bandshell. The concert is followed by a fireworks display.

“Kids and families really enjoy it,” Graglia said. “It’s a great way to come out and support the volunteers, because we are volunteers, and we really appreciate the community showing its support.”

Tickets to the event, which can be purchased in advance for $10, can be picked up at the following locations:

  • The township clerk’s office at Wyckoff Town Hall, 340 Franklin Ave.
  • Wyckoff YMCA, 695 Wyckoff Ave,
  • Blue Moon Café, 327 Franklin Ave.

  • Parkwood Deli, 342 Erie Ave., Midland Park

Tickets can also be purchased at the gate.

Proceeds from the event go toward supporting the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department, made up of 100 volunteers that train regularly to respond to emergency situations in the township.
