Fire Department Quickly Extinguishes House Fire

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Wyckoff Fire Department, along with responders from Midland Park Ho-Ho-Kus and Ramsey, quickly extinguished a house fire on Morse Avenue Thursday afternoon, Fire Chief Mike Rose said.

According to Rose, the resident called in that a fire had started on the deck in front of the home. "Limited damage" was done to the deck and exterior wall of the house, Rose said. Nobody was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
