Ex-Reporter Found Guilty of Sexually Assaulting 4-Year-Old

Charles Leaf's sentencing is set for June 6, report says.

A former Fox 5 reporter from Wyckoff has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl at his township home, NorthJersey.com reported. A jury convicted Charles Leaf of all charges against him Thursday, including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, child endangerment, possession of child pornography and evidence tampering, the report said.

Leaf’s sentencing is set for June 6, the report said.

The charges stem from a 2010 incident in which a then 4-year-old told her babysitter that Leaf touched her private parts and instructed her to touch his. During the trial, the girl testified that it had not happened, and that the babysitter coached her to say it. Leaf denied the allegations on the stand.
