Power was expected to be restored around 9 p.m. to homes in Franklin Lakes and Wyckoff, after a utility pole snapped in half on Franklin Avenue late Friday afternoon..

Franklin Avenue was closed between Ewing and Summit avenues and was expected to remain so until Rockland Electric finished the work in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Power on Blue Hill Terrace was expected to remain out until the repairs were completed.
