Cops: GameStop Customer May Have Clue in Armed Robbery

Police seek public's help identifying patron who may have crossed paths with the man who held up the video game store.

Franklin Lakes Police think an unidentified man seen in surveillance footage could help them find a gun-wielding robber.

Borough police are turning to the public to try to identify the man, seen above, more than two weeks after the Franklin Avenue GameStop was robbed.

"This department would like to interview the depicted subject in order to determine if in fact he may have witnessed anything pertinent to our investigation," Franklin Lakes Police Lt. John Bakelaar said in a statement Tuesday. "We ask that anyone who may be able to identify this person to contact the Franklin Lakes Police Department, Detective Bureau at 201-891-3131."
