Another Wyckoff Home Burglarized

Police say several rooms were ransacked in the Deep Brook Road home

Police are investigating yet another suspected burglary in the township.

According to the , officers responded to an activated burglar alarm at a Deep Brook Road home shortly before 9 p.m. on the night of Thursday, March 29.

Patrolmen Andrew Poremba and William Plisich arrived on the scene and found a rear door smashed open. The investigating officers then discovered several bedrooms that had been ransacked, but found no perpetrator in the house.

Police are currently unsure of what, if anything, was stolen from the burglarized home.

Police have been investigating a spate of burglaries and attempted burglaries in the past month in Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes.

Franklin Lakes Police were unable to apprehend a at an Iron Latch Road home on the afternoon of March 13, according to borough police.

The audible interior alarm apparently scared the burglars from the scene and no property was believed to be missing, cops said.

About two weeks prior, on February 29,  between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and stolen jewelry, a computer and a $1,500 guitar had been stolen.

Local police were assisted by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department in processing the scene.
