Tot Shabbat to Feature Spongebob, Spiderman and More

The first installment of a kids' series at a Franklin Lakes temple is Friday.

The Chabad Jewish Center of NW Bergen County in Franklin Lakes is planning a series of kid-friendly Shabbat dinners for the area’s youngest Jewish children.

The Center released to Patch the following information about the first installment, happening this week.

Join Spongebob, Elmo, Spiderman and Tinkerbell for Character Tot Shabbat this Friday, October 11 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Chabad Center, 375 Pulis Avenue, in Franklin Lakes.

The Shabbat program is held on a monthly basis and features lively Shabbat songs employing props, funny antics and kid-favorite T.V. characters. Children also enjoy a kid’s style dinner and a super-creative ‘Torah’ craft using playful food products.   

Future Character Tot Shabbats will be held on November 15, December 13, January 10, February 7 and March 7.
