Start Collecting: Wyckoff FD Kicks Off 'Toy for Tots' Drive

The fire department is collecting new, unwrapped toys on behalf of the Marine Corps initiative.

Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department Chief Lou Graglia and Tim Brock, Assistant Chief and members of the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department announce for the fifth straight year they will be teaming with the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.  

On Saturday, December 7, 2013 between the hours of 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., the Toys for Tots Train will be making a stop in Wyckoff.  On board a special train will be members of the Marine Corps and Santa Claus who will stop at the Main Street train station, 399 Wyckoff Avenue, to collect gifts for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.  

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation is to collect new, unwrapped toys during late November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts for needy children.

Wyckoff’s Bravest are asking for your help.  

Wyckoff residents are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at collection points the first two weeks of December.  All three Township Fire Houses have been designated collection points for this worthwhile cause.

Gifts can be dropped at Protection Fire Company #1 (1 Scott Plaza), Community Engine Company # 2 (180 Wyckoff Avenue) and Sicomac Engine Company #3 (428 Sicomac Avenue) anytime prior to December 7.  Gifts can also be dropped off any Monday evening between 7:15 – 9:15 p.m.  All gifts will be brought to the Main Street station for pick up on December 7.
