Township Native Dedicates Wyckoff Painting in Honor of Late Mother

The painting will now be displayed at town hall.

A new painting of town hall at town hall will remember a late resident whose family members say loved living in Wyckoff.

Lisa Miller, a Ridgewood resident who grew up in Wyckoff, recently made the township’s town hall a little more beautiful in honor of her late mom.

At a township committee meeting last week, Miller, her sisters, and her father officially gifted one of the artist’s paintings to Wyckoff. The painting depicts the outside of town hall.

“Betty and I lived here for over 40 years,” before her death in April, her husband said at the meeting.

“It is really a wonderful town.”

The family told township officials that Betty Mac Callum loved living in Wyckoff, and so they thought a gift to the town in her honor would be a fitting tribute.

The Committee thanked the Miller family for the donation.

“We appreciate very much your gesture,” Mayor Rudy Boonstra told the family. “It is very generous of you.”
