Ramapo Students Collect Food Donations for Emmanuel Cancer Foundation

Organization provides services to NJ families caring for children with cancer.

The following was submitted to Patch by reader Melissa Ferro.

Students from the Ramapo High School Student Council and SADD collected over 40 boxes of food donations for the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation in Midland Park.  

The mission of the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation is to provide a variety of specialized services, at no charge, to any New Jersey family facing the challenges of caring for a child with cancer.

Their services include professional in-home counseling, advocacy on behalf of the families, material support such as food, clothing, toys, and household items, and emergency financial relief.
