350 Vets Thanked at 'Roll Call for Veterans' in Wyckoff

Event was part of the YMCA's initiative to acknowledge the service of North Jersey veterans.

The following was submitted to Patch by the Wyckoff YMCA.

The Third Annual “Roll Call for Veterans” Breakfast was hosted by the Wyckoff Family YMCA on Wednesday, May 6. Over 350 vets and their guests attended the event celebrating their service to our country.

A color guard, the Pledge of Allegiance (led by the Y’s Youth Character Award winners), and a delicious breakfast were part of the festivities, along with a presentation by keynote speaker, Major General Clark Martin, USAF, Ret.

Vets attended the breakfast free of charge; as a "thank you" from the Wyckoff Y.
This event is part of the “Veterans’ Initiative” started by the Wyckoff Family YMCA three years ago to ensure that all veterans in the northern New Jersey area are acknowledged and thanked for the service and sacrifices they made for their country.
