'The Music Man' is Coming to Town
Here's a behind the scenes look at the Wyckoff YMCA's latest stage production, which kicks off tonight at 7:30 p.m.
The Y Arts Theatre Company of the is proud to present Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” on the Carl Pfeifer Performing Arts Stage at the Y.
Performances will take place May 3-6, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 5:30 p.m.
Meredith Willson’s "The Music Man" follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize — this despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.

His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall. By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, "The Music Man" is family entertainment at its best.
Tickets for adults cost $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the show. Tickets for seniors cost $15 or $20 on the day of the show. Kids' tickets cost $10 or $15 on the day of the show.
