'Io Non Ho Paura' of a Foreign Film Festival Starting Wednesday

The Ramapo Indian Hills Italian teacher is kicking off an Italian film screening series Wednesday, and members of the Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes community are invited to attend.

An Italian film festival of sorts is coming to Ramapo Indian Hills, thanks to the regional high school district’s Italian language teacher. And, the community is invited to take in the foreign films on the big screen.

The second annual string of Italian Movie Nights – hosted by RIH’s Signorina Danielle McCartan, kicks off Wednesday night at the Ramapo High School Auditorium.

McCartan will be showing Io Non Ho Paura, or I Am Not Scared, a 2004 thriller.

Light refreshments courtesy of the Italian Riviera of Waldwick will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 7 p.m.

“I  am currently a 4th year Italian teacher in the district and my goal in putting on a film series is to get the community involved,” McCarten said.
