Monday, October 1, marks the change back to once-a-week garbage and trashcollection. This format will remain in place until May 1, 2013, when we return to twice-a-week collection.

Curbside leaf collection will begin on Monday, Oct. 15. Information about the leaf collection is outlined in Update, the Wyckoff resident newsletter. It will also be posted on Wyckoff on the Web

Garbage and recyclables must be placed at the curb prior to 6 a.m. of your collection day but not before 6 p.m. of the night before. Empty containers must be removed by 7 p.m. of the collection day.

Items collected must be the usual household trash and garbage. Any items considered to be building materials or oversized or overweight cannot be included in the municipal collection. Rather, a resident must contact a private carter and contract for a special pick up. If you have any questions about items collected with household garbage and trash, check the Reference Table of Trash and Recyclables on Wyckoff on the Web.
