Pure Barre to Open Boulder Run Location by March

The fitness studio is opening its first North Jersey location in Wyckoff, where managers say they will offer classes using the popular ballet barre workout technique.

A new workout and fitness center that offers the popular barre technique is opening in Wyckoff’s Boulder Run shopping center, and managers say the location may be open as early as next month.

Pure Barre, a chain and franchise workout center, has already posted signage on one of the available storefronts at Boulder Run. Pure Barre is currently putting the finishing touches on the space’s interior, which will no doubt include bars running along nearly all of its walls. Pure Barre teaches classes based around the fitness trend of working out using a ballet barre.

“The barre workouts have become so popular, that we are experiencing tremendous growth right now,” Linda Mavretish, the studio manager of the upcoming Wyckoff location said.

“So far, we have 170 locations.”

The Boulder Run location will soon be added to that, as Mavretish said she anticipates opening “in the next four to six weeks.”

“We are really excited about the location,” which is one of Pure Barre’s first in North Jersey, she said.

“It’s a good spot for us, and we’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback and interest from the community already. They seem excited for us, and we are very excited to be here.”

Mavretish said a bunch of locals have already registered for classes on the Pure Barre website, which is offering a pre-opening unlimited class pass special.

“It’s a great package, so we’ve had a lot of people sign up already,” Mavretish said.

“It’s a nice way to introduce Pure Barre to the community and people have been taking advantage of it.”
