Miller's Pharmacy Celebrates Grand Reopening with Family Fun Day
Have some fun, ice cream and hot dogs.
Feeling down? A little pick-me-up from your local healthcare provider might be just what the doctor ordered — no, we’re not talking some over-the-counter meds, just a little family fun.
Miller Pharmacy’s is celebrating its grand reopening at a family day event on Sunday, Sept. 23, from noon to 4 p.m.
The event will take place rain or shine, so bring your shades and umbrellas, and hurry over to see what they have in store for the whole family. The kids will surely be entertained for the all-day affair.

“We are hosting a family day event,” said Julie Berkowitz, marketing coordinator for Miller’s. “There will be food, face painting, live music, giveaways, a dunk tank, and much more.”
Mayor Chris DePhillips is also expected to be on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Miller’s just completed a major renovation. The brand, spanking new pharmacy added a nutrition and wellness center with a private consultation space, a repair center for wheelchairs and other medical equipment, and private fitting rooms.
“The pharmacy and the building have been in my family for over 80 years. The last major renovation was 50 years ago. We wanted to keep the character of the historic building, but also enlarge and modernize the space, making it brighter and cheerier for our customers,” said David Miller, current owner and president of the pharmacy.
This popular community pharmacy is a family-run business that has been in the same location — at 678 Wyckoff Avenue — since 1929, and David Miller is the grandson of the founder.
This family of pharmacists is known not only for their quality products, but their customer service and free local delivery, now with new drop-off and pick-up areas.
“The Grand Reopening Family Event Day is a way to reach out to our community, have a fun-filled, free event for families and children, to celebrate a huge milestone reached by the Pharmacy — and most of all, to thank all our customers for their loyalty during a long renovation process,” said Miller.
