Lovelorn dreamers, seekers of wealth, and other unfortunates come together is a whacky 1941 Yiddish comedy “The Great Advisor” on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at Temple Emanuel of North Jersey.
With Yiddish dialogue and English subtitles, the film features Irving Jacobson and Yetta Zwerling in the leading roles. The program is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
