Report: RHONJ Hubby Albert Manzo Sued by 'Angry Waitress'

Report says a former employee is suing the Franklin Lakes native, claiming harassment and unfair pay.

A waitress who used to work for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Albert Manzo is suing him and his brother, Tommy, claiming the pair harassed her, and failed to pay her overtime, the NY Daily News reported Tuesday.

According to the report, Lanise Jackson, 36, is suing her former employers claiming discrimination and a hostile work environment during the two years she worked at The Brownstone Inn restaurant they own in Paterson. The waitress, who was fired in November, says the two called her names and referred to her using racial slurs, according to nydailynews.com.

She is also suing for alleged unpaid overtime, the report said.

Manzo told the Daily News that the allegations were untrue, that "this is the most insane thing I've ever had to deal with," and that he is "seriously considering" filing a countersuit.

Manzo's wife, Caroline, announced earlier this year she was leaving The Real Housewives for a Bravo spin-off about her family.

News of this suit comes a few months after other RHONJ star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe were charged with several different types of fraud.
