Ramapo Student Stars in Bye-Bye Birdie

St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Guild production runs in Ringwood for the next two weekends.

Franklin Lakes' Sebastian Rollo stars as Conrad Birdie in Bye, Bye Birdie with St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Guild at 8 p.m. July 29 and 30, 8 p.m. Aug. 5 and 6 and 2 p.m. Sunday July 31 and Aug. 7.

Sebastian (Sebby) is 17 years old and entering his senior year at Ramapo High School. He has been featured in many local community theater productions including "Oliver" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" (Benjamin) in Ringwood, in "Twinderella" and 42nd Street at Smiling Rhino Theatre in Pompton Lakes.

Known as a talented triple threat—dancer/actor/singer—Sebby shines in this role as a 1950s rock and roll star doing one last publicity stunt before he shipps out to the Army.

St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Guild is a non-profit community theater organization under the sponsorship of St. Catherine of Bologna Parish located at 112 Erskine Road in Ringwood. The Guild is non-denominational. It exists to promote cultural awareness and growth and to enhance community spirit through the performing arts.
