Hurricane Sandy Forces Library to Rejigger 'Big Read' Events

"The Poe Mysteries" scheduled for Monday in Eisenhower Middle School auditorium has been canceled, "Poe's Warrior Women and Melancholy Men" talk postponed

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the Wyckoff Public Library has canceled its Big Read event planned for Monday, Oct. 29, according to Library Director Mary Witherell.

"The Poe Mysteries" play had been scheduled for a 7:30 performance at the Eisenhower Middle School auditorium.

The event at the library scheduled for the next night, "Poe's Warrior Women and Melancholy Men," a talk by Poe author Dawn B. Sova, has been postponed until Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., still in the library's Shotmeyer Room.
