'Housewives' Cast Members Returning to Franklin Lakes

Melissa and Joe Gorga will be moving to the borough before the start of the school year.

Franklin Lakes is soon to add another Real Housewife.

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast members Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita already famously reside in the borough, and according to a report Tuesday from Us Weekly, Melissa and Joe Gorga will be moving nearby following the sale of their Montville home.

The couple had struggled to sell the custom-built abode, listed with a $3.8 million asking price, but had been eying a lot in Franklin Lakes for their new residence.

“We already found the perfect lot in Franklin Lakes, where we lived when we got married and have wanted to return to,” Melissa wrote on her Bravo blog in June.

According to the report, the Gorgas have finally found a buyer for the Montville property’s full asking price, and have already purchased land for Joe, a developer, to design a new pad.

In the meantime, the couple said they will be renting an area house so that their two older children can make the start of the school year.

“I feel like this was meant to be,” Melissa told the magazine. “It happened just in time for the kids to start their first day of school. It’s going to be a lot of work designing and building the new home, but Joe is an incredible builder and I’m excited to go back to where we started our family.”
