That’s what Wyckoff’s Tara Reid, star of the SyFy channel’s “Sharknado,” a potential camp classic about a tornado that rains down ravenous sharks on the population of Los Angeles, said of the movie.

The bizarre plot generated fewer viewers during its Thursday television debut than the channel’s other recent monster flicks, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly. But Twitter exploded with about five thousand posts a minute during the airing, and the snark heaped upon the disaster movie left it trending through the weekend.

“I’m just so glad that people saw the humor in it that I did...because it’s hilarious,” Reid told TMZ. “The movie was so ridiculous, you know? Like it’s almost so bad that it’s good.”

Good or bad, the shark-infested whirlwind has Reid back in the public spotlight. The actress is known for the “American Pie” series, but hasn’t had many high-profile roles outside the franchise.

Rumors have her angling for a sequel to the movie. If you missed the first one, check out the preview.
