Borough Artist to Display Award-Winning Work in Franklin Lakes

Exhibit at the Library opens in February.

Award-winning borough artist Haeley Kyong will exhibit some of her new paintings in a one-person show beginning February 7 and running until February 28, 2014 at the Franklin Lakes Public Library.

Kyong’s work has been part of over 30 exhibitions across the United States and has twice been named Best in Show by renowned New York art critic Piri Halasz. She has won a number of awards including the Liquitex Artist of the Month, a Manhattan Arts International Award and a Rosenthal Gallery Award.

Kyong describes her art as “abstrac expressionism,” full of bold lines and subtle colors that create the illusion of a three-dimensional space in two-dimensions.
