Wyckoff's 'Our Aging Parents' Panel Discussion Tuesday

Event on local nursing home and assisted living options is the latest in a series on caring for elderly community members.

The Wyckoff YMCA is continuing its series on Caring for Aging Parents with an event Tuesday focused on the differences between assisted living and nursing homes for local senior citizens and their families.

The Y announced this week the panel discussion, “When Care at Home is not Enough,” happening at the YMCA at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The panel will be made up of professionals from local nursing homes and assisted living facilities set to discuss topics like respire care, home care, short-term rehabilitation, dementia care, and hospice.
