Franklin Lakes Board of Education Welcomes New Superintendent
Lydia Furnari has begun her tenure as the new superintendent for the Franklin Lakes school district.
The Board of Education has welcomed Franklin Lake school district's new superintendent Dr. Lydia Furnari, who has replaced outgoing superintendent Frank Romano. Furnari was unanimously voted by the board to the position in March and officially began her tenure as of July 1.
She has previously served as the director of curriculum for the Montclair Board of Education according to northjersey.com, and also served as a principal and director at the elementary and secondary levels for the Elizabeth school district.
