upSKILL Training for Unemployed Experienced IT & STEM Professionals

If you are unemployed and have experience in an Information Technology (IT) or Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field, upSKILL could help you enhance the skills you need to get hired and move your career forward. upSKILL is a consortium of colleges, Workforce Investment Boards, industry partners and professional associations in northern New Jersey that has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to pay the tuition and fees for courses that build on your current skills to qualify you for IT & STEM jobs.

Training is offered on the campuses of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University—Newark, the Community Colleges of Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic Counties and the county colleges Essex and Morris Counties. Some courses are also offered online. upSKILL is ongoing through December 2015.
