Special Peanut and Tree-Nut Free WEEK!: Art and Cooking Camp

August 25-29 KidzArt & Chef it Up 2 Go! join together to offer a full day camp in Franklin Lakes. SPECIAL PEANUT & TREE-NUT FREE WEEK!!!

Mixed Media 3D Camp (9am-noon) Join us as we experiment with fun new mediums both 2-D and 3-D. Learn a simple “Suminagashi” technique---floating inks on the surface of water to create beautiful patterns. Work with fabric, paint, metal, foam and other fun materials to make art you are excited about! Create with clay!

Lunch - Students will bring their own lunch. Refrigeration is available. Lunch Bunch will consist of indoor & outdoor activities.

Chef It Up 2 Go - "Foods Around the World" Camp (1pm-4pm) Chef hats are given out at the start of the the first class then Chef It Up 2 GO takes the kids on a culinary adventure around the world! Each chef will prepare fun foods and drinks from different regions to enjoy in class and even take home. Some of the countries we will be visiting are Italy with Pizza; Garlic Knots & Tiramisu; China with Fried Rice Cups; Sugar Sticks and Green Tea with Honey & Lemon; France with Baked French Fries and some gooey chocolate treats and of course the good ole USA with Apple Pies; Fruit Smoothies; Mac n' Cheese and more! By the end of the week each chef will receive their own cookbook to recreate the fun at home!
