Seeking Walkers for Northern NJ Walk Now for Autism

A local Franklin Lakes group is seeking additional walkers for an upcoming Walk May 18th at the Meadowlands. 

This is the fifth event by Team Franklin Lakes Cares. 

On Sunday, May 18th Autism Speaks is having their annual Northern New Jersey Walk Now for Autism Speaks where people join together to raise awareness and funds used for autism research and awareness. This year it will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.  This walk last year involved over 4,000 walkers (in the rain)

There is no fee to join, but participants will be part of helping raise funds to support awareness, research family support.

Recently new statistics were announced that 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with having some form autism. Behind each of these numbers is a person living with autism, a future that we can change with your help!  Take the first step and register today.
