The following was submitted to Patch by Koko FitClub.
In the month of October, we ran a promotion called the Koko FitClub PINK LANYARD & PERFECT WORKOUT Breast Cancer Awareness Event where our members helped us raise money for the American Cancer Society (ACS).
Members participated by buying pink lanyards for $1 and for every lanyard sold, we made a $2 donation on their behalf. In addition, we had a "Perfect Workout" contest where members were challenged to get a 1000 point workout. For each perfect score, we made a $10 donation to the ACS.
The promotion was a great success and many members at our clubs reached this goal (in some cases multiple times!).
Last week we had a "Perfect Workout Recognition" party to celebrate their success and had a great turnout.
