Christian Health Care Adult Day Services Celebrates Deficiency-Free Survey

Christian Health Care Adult Day Services of Wyckoff recently celebrated its deficiency-free survey and inspection from the New Jersey Department of Health. A standard, unannounced survey was conducted by a Department of Health surveyor that included interviews with some of the attending clients, a review of several medical records, observance of many care and service practices, along with an assessment of the physical surroundings and related life-safety provisions.  The outcome of this survey found no deficiencies with any practices and no recommendations for any needed improvements. The state department of health conducts an evaluation of our program every two years to assure that we are in compliance with state regulations.

“I am so proud of and congratulate our colleagues at Christian Health Care Adult Day Services of Wyckoff, along with many supporting departments working closely with them, for achieving this outstanding survey outcome,” said Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, Christian Health Care Center President and CEO. “The clients in this program are cared for with excellence, compassion, and love by a team that consistently upholds the standards of the mission and vision of Christian Health Care Center.”

Christian Health Care Center provides a broad continuum of high-quality, compassionate care, offering superior mental-health, elder-care, residential living, and rehabilitation services.
