United Water Project to Shut Borough Roadways Thursday

Work is expected to last through Friday.

Franklin Lakes posted the following on its website about an anticipated road closure Thursday and Friday:

Shadow Ridge Road and that portion of Bridle Way that was excavated for United Water's water line project will be milled and paved on Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

The roads will be closed to primary traffic between these hours. Residents will be able to get in and out of their homes and intersecting streets, but primary traffic will be detoured using the emergency access gates on Iron Latch Road and Surrey Lane. School buses will be able to pick up and drop off your children on the streets during this period.

Please allow additional time to take an alternate route and follow detours as needed. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Franklin Lakes Police Department at 201-891-3131.
