Panel on Aging Parents Tuesday in Wyckoff

The Christian Health Care Center, Van Dyk Health Care, Wyckoff Family YMCA, and Wyckoff Board of Health are teaming up to host this panel discussion.

The following release was submitted to Patch by the Wyckoff Family YMCA.

The Christian Health Care Center, Van Dyk Health Care, the Wyckoff Family YMCA, and the Wyckoff Board of Health are proud to present the second in a series of Care Conversations: Our Aging Parents. 

“Family Dynamics” will be held on Tuesday, November 12 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Wyckoff Family YMCA, 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff.

Our panel of experts will answer questions about the topics you want to learn about: “parenting your parents,” having difficult conversations (giving up car keys, living wills, etc.), “the sandwich generation,” dealing with sibling disagreements, and more.

Panel will consist of:

  • Barbara Lankelis, LCSW, Therapist, Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff
  • Sr. Arlene Kollar, Our Lady of Consolation Church, Wayne
  • Rev. Jim Knol, LCSW, Clinician and Chaplain, Christian Health Care Center

Moderator: Denise Ratcliffe, LNHA, Executive Vice President and COO, Christian Health Care Center
